If the conversation was about Haiti or Jamaica getting reparations, could ADOS somehow fit into that?

Not seeing the confusion about ADOS..

:dahell: No we would actually be happy for ya''ll and cheer y'all on, not throw shade at y'all about being divisive about trying to come up...

Doesnt make it any less slavery. Our "reparation checks" may be coming from France or England or Portugal instead of the United States but still deserve reparations if that's what the argument is about

I 1000% agree, I hope that no one pushing ADOS would actually say otherwise

The argument was never about whether CDOS deserve reparations. It's always been about America paying reparations to ADOS and ADOS only for American slavery in America.

She wrecked his ass. S America had waaay more our people sent there than N. America.

That has zero to do with African-Americans demanding reparations from the US Government.

There are a few ADOS who seem to think they were the only ones to endure slavery. As if Caribbean black were just chilling on the beach 24/7 drinking coconut water with the colonizers. Historical facts show the contrary. But then again some people like to question certain historical facts when it contradicts what THEY have chosen to convince themselves of and believe.
BS. This is about slavery in the United States not the Caribbean. What part you found most confusing?

Joy and Roland still can't understand LINEAGE. Especially as is pertains to lineage in the U.S.A.

No one ever said enslaved Africans were only sent to the area that later became the United States of America.

No one ever said that Africans were not enslaved in the Caribbean or Central or South America.

We are just saying that ADOS blacks have lineage goes back to the founding of the USA and we have a distinct Reparations claim from OUR government.

Thats my point..

Every captivity african slaves found themselves in had different captors...

My captors are the american white man of the original 13 colonies..

Why the confusion and debate thats going on now?

This entire conversation is tiresome at this point.

I’ve been trying to be really cool and diplomatic with non-ADOS black folk so as to clear up any confusing they have about the movement and to show that it’s in no way divisive and we got love for them but at this point I’m done explaining it. Some people get it and it seems a lot don’t want to.

The fact that it’s so much resistance to the idea says a lot, especially after it’s clarified over and over. A lot of people seemingly just want to argue and be sassy online for shyts and giggles.

It does. Some of the people that want a check come from countries not in the US . They just dont know their family’s history. Some of them were slaves in other countries and migrated to the US as freed men. nikkas is gonna to do through research to see who came from their homeland directly from a slave shyt to the US. The shyt aint as simple as yall making it our to be. Plus the US aint nothing but other CAC countries coming together to make one land. Those other countries need yo pay as well. Spain, France, England, Portgual, etc, all need to cut a check. You are letting a bunch of CACs slide when you too busy pointing the finger at one group.

:mjlol:

Be specific. Very specific.
You better be very specific. Cuz alot of folks gonna be pissed when then they handing out checks and they realize their people didnt come directly off a slave ship to the US. CACs gonna pull out them receipts

"but but what about slavery in Brazil..."

These smart dumb nikkas can't understand that when we refer to "America" we mean the United States of America.

Detractors i tell you..

The same descendants of jim crow and the race riots from post slavery..

If CACs would've left us the fck alone after slavery, we wouldn't be having this talk right now..

But they kept fcking with us, and fcking with us, and fcking with us..

Slavery ended in 1865 and them CACs didn't really get of our necks until the 1970s..

Im here up north due to my parents running from these CACs down south in the late 60s..

Just STFU if youre black and don't want your massa felling uncomfortable about this issue..

If we do succeed, you getting a cut anyway.. I don't get it..

This is why I preferred Sensei’s acronym/moniker. ADOS leaves room for (incorrect) interpretation, which in turn leaves room for others taking advantage of protections that were not meant for them. This reminds me of how affirmative action has expanded to include everyone...so much so that ADOS obtain the least protections from a policy that was meant to primarily benefit us. But that’s neither here nor there.
