Well heres the dilemma.... should they satisfy with request of what a few of yall want (the minority) or should they satisfy what the majority wants? fukk that... I say go with the MAJORITY.
@ cats in here talking about "less blockbuster, smaller scale" etc. This aint no fukking Citizen Kane esque type bullshyt, this a COMIC BOOK movie with bigger than life characters that require bigger than like ACTION, PLOTS, CLIMAX, etc. We've seen enough movies where ONE MAN can save the entire planet and the scale needs to still be large enough to justify why it takes will need a TEAM of SUPER POWERED/GODS to save and entire galaxy yet alone planet

Pretty sure his first movie is going to be GOTG so Avengers 2 will be his 2nd movie if he dies there(Which he probably won't.)

That's good news and all but I gotta say I'd like him to come back for TV. Make another piff show or something. All thought most of his shyt got canceled they were almost always quality TV.
If you expect "The Avengers 2" featuring Thanos to be a "film" not a blockbuster you're fukking retarded.
Nolan has brain washed so many uninformed people into thinking comic book movies have to be super serious. There was a precedent for that in Batman, there is no precedent for it in The Avengers.

I'd rather Whedon do a Guardians of Galaxy if they plan on making that shyt. He'd probably do good on an Ant-man film if he makes it meta/self referential. Joss laided down the blueprint so another director can copy/paste most of Avengers 2.
