Joss Whedon Reiterates Why He's Not Directing Marvel's AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

Like I said before though, Thanos ain't The Winter Soldier. He's not gonna be boxing Avengers in the middle of the street. The Russos have nothing like "Infinity War" in their entire career.

Eh....I don't mean to sound overly negative but cats are super gassed off "TWS" when that's literally the only thing these directors (and writers) have going for them. That movie was great but it's not enough for me to be over them directing these movies.

I agree. However lets not forget they have "Civil War" first to get the hang of big "Action scenes" rather then just fight choreography. Civil War is bascially a mini infinity war anyway. Cap/Iron man/Spidey and Black panther are all in along with whoever else they put in. There's bound to be some big action sequences and the Russos will be able to see what works and what don't before having to tackle Thanos.

If "Civil War" is great I'll be a lot less worried. If "Age Of Ultron" is better than "Civil War" it's not going to assuage my worries at all though.

The problem ain't just the Russos though. The writers of "TWS" that everyone is so geeked about have a pretty bad career, aside from "TWS". Nothing they've done makes me think they can write Thanos dialogue.

But whatever. The fact that I'm worried about who is writing Thanos dialogue, when I never ever thought I'd see Thanos in a movie is a minor problem, I guess.

naw, that's not a minor problem...thanos isnt just a big, dumb bad guy and you want the shyt to be right and as true to the character as possible.....i def understand...they better not fukk this up....
