I'm convinced that shyt was NEVER going to happen.
They just threw that shyt on their film slate on some "Look we're going to give you guys a black superhero" because they say people were upset (at the time) that Marvel hadn't announced Black Panther.
When that Cyborg movie was announced nobody was really excited, even black comic book fans were like "Why him?".

People have been saying it for years, but it's obvious DC doesn't really have a firm plan in place and they're just rushing things. Like, just give us one REALLY good movie, that at least a majority of people enjoy.
