I think he has his moments of cleverness but he's definitely overrated in terms of dialogue. It's not like he's Sorkin or Tarantino. The problem is he makes all of his characters sound the same which comes back to bite him in the ass a lot

he actually doesn't. It's just the comedic timing that's similar cause it's his signature.

Aren't like 90% of the jokes Tony Stark's though?

But when you have Steve making a joke that doesn't seem in character and seems more like Whedon talking than Cap, that's where it feels "same" Again, that's how I feel, if anyone disagrees that's cool but there's always a same-ness to me with how the jokes are rather than them being very character specific
