Cause he is from the crib... And he is good... And we dont need any of them nikkas you just named... Smith Holford Williams and teague is a good enough core for me bruh. Ill take them into next season with cap room and pics and build a team like OKC did.

:usure: I would rather Wiggins, Parker, or the Harrison twins way before I want Smith. Those guys can be elite. Josh can't be elite. How many times have you heard Laker fans say nooooo when Kobe takes a jumper.

You overrated the h*ll out of Lou, Teague, and Smith. Teague is a backup PG in the mold of Bobby Jackson, Lou is basically this age Vinnie Johnson, and Smith is well Smith. That core is good for 4-8 in the East and a 1st round exit.

Josh is one of the most underrated players ever. On another team being the second or third best player he would get more props. He's an all around beast and should be acknowledged as such.

It will take years for Wiggins, Parker, and Harrison to put Josh Smith numbers up...combined :wtb:

Smith only weakness is his shooting ability...but dude plays PF... so i guess that the expectation is that all other PF's can routinely hit 15 footers and Smith sucks because he can't...:dwillhuh:

Dude is...and has been...a middle class man's lebron james. One of maybe 5 guys in the league who is exceptional in 1 on 1 defense, team defense, and weak side defense...

No way you will even get close to equal value trading for him. Dude is a beast on defense and the boards. There's not 10 players in the league you can say that about.

Josh Smith has always been a great utility player. Jack of all trades but master of none.

Which is why he belongs on a team where he'll be asked to do all that and score occasionally as a 3rd or 4th scorer. I wish the Heat could have him as Haslem starts to age but he's out of our price range. I love his shot blocking skills for a PF/SF tweener.

Like I always say good player and underrated nationally. Still overrated by Hawks fans tho but thats their local boy and i understand

Unless ya'll get Dwight to come back home (every Hawks fans dream) I think Josh will be wasting his career here. The kid can be a major contributor to a championship team the way he plays D. I think he's loyal enough to give the Hawks a hometown discount to stay home but i think he'd be foolish to bypass a huge payday to stay home

Lou was runnner up for the sixth man and high school player of the year... He didnt go to college. How am I overrating him?

Teague is good. Solid PG. Smith was bringing in 25 pts 15 reb toward the end of the season. You will see. The hawks gonna make a strong push in the east, I really see us as a number two or three seed.

Dude, stop smoking dope. Those four will be elite NBA players like Rose, James and guys like that. Smith is basically a good player but he isn't elite, lack intangibles and has low offensive BBIQ. Smith is valuable but he ain't someone you can build around.

Including him into the core. He is as much of a core member as Teague and Jenkins. Those guys aren't a core for any NBA team or you don't have one. Teague isn't a solid PG. One of the worst PnR defenders in the NBA. His PnR are mainly for him, he never creates with it. He's inconsistent and he has no PG skills. Josh Smith was 6th in shots for all NBA players last year and didn't break 19ppg. :stopitslime:

:obama: Smoove is dope. Its a shame, I think he easily has to be one of the most underacheiving players in recent history. He literally can do it all. He is the best all around defensive player at the 4. He can play all 5 postions, he is athletic as fukk. He can shoot, beat his man off the dribble, create for himself and for others. IMO he has potential to be a top 10 player, like no joke even at times I can even see a Lebron-like talent level from Smoove, but his decision making and his idiotic, dumb, and low BBIQ at times outshines how great of a player he is and can be imo. If he was on a team where he is a 3rd option, maybe even a 2nd option, :whew: he would be a complete beast. But, I do hope the Hawks do make some noise with Smithy as the 1st option. :salute:

He's not a jack of all trades type. That's Joe. Josh is a master of blocks, help side defense, playing passing lanes, has very good court vision, good passer, defensive BBIQ, understanding the offense and very good in transition when he is a finisher. Josh issue is quite big as well. Inconsistent, mentality, decision making skills, overconfident, poor ball handling skill, and small hands.
