This is a different situation as it supposedly involves a minor so they’re going to take their time before they report on the story especially considering that there are certain aspects that they can and can’t say. It’s better not to say anything at all about it for the time being for that reason.

I've been quiet on this, and still will withhold my opinion and stand neutral and wait for what the NBA complete their investigation and decides what should happen if anything at all.

That being all said, a couple of things that people have to keep in mind before throwing their opinions out there:

1. There's more than one individual with Giddey. The pic that said "I fuccked Josh Giddey" is a completely different person from the rest. Not saying she's of age or not, but stating that it's a different person.

2. Giddey just turned 21 a month ago. Why is that an important detail to note? Because we are not sure WHEN the pics or the videos were done. It could be a month ago, it could be years ago. Giddey was only 18 HIMSELF when he was drafted to the Thunder. So there was a time all he could've messed with were teenagers because HE was still a teenager. This is why the how long ago is important.

3. The internet is a vile place. The fact that we do not know the TRUE origin of the tweets/videos and it's basically random people off social media putting their spin on it with the possible to edits and photoshops and out of context clips just to push a narrative, right or wrong should make EVERYONE to hesitate until we get the REAL information through the NBA.

I dunno if he's guilty of not. I do know this was bad coincidental timing since as of right now the Thunder is tied at the top of the western conference. This distraction is going to affect the team without question.

Nba rarely ever step in on internet drama, this is maybe one of the first ever i can think of they took a alleged sex crime in their own hands.
