If I really cared, which I don’t. Can’t act like I care cause it’s a celeb when I haven’t donated any real money to prevent real trafficking and shyt. But if I really cared, to me it’s not about law it’s about morals. 18 in cali and 16 in the next state doesn’t make it worse if your just cross a border, or less bad for that matter. Just like 81 and 16 might be legal, but it’s crazy. To me the moral limit is half your age + 7.5. That means that logic would be illegal in Cali if I’m under 20. But not immoral imo. And it would work in most states.

I don’t know if Cali requires knowing if the person is underage or not for statutory rape to have occurred. If I am correct most states do not allow that as an excuse.
Also them being in a club doesn’t mean he didn’t know. If anything it adds to the evidence he probably had sex with her.

The idea—she’s in a club drinking—is she really the age people are saying? Or was it just a “she’s with an NBA player, let her in” type deal.

I've been quiet on this, and still will withhold my opinion and stand neutral and wait for what the NBA complete their investigation and decides what should happen if anything at all.
That being all said, a couple of things that people have to keep in mind before throwing their opinions out there:
1. There's more than one individual with Giddey. The pic that said "I fuccked Josh Giddey" is a completely different person from the rest. Not saying she's of age or not, but stating that it's a different person.
2. Giddey just turned 21 a month ago. Why is that an important detail to note? Because we are not sure WHEN the pics or the videos were done. It could be a month ago, it could be years ago. Giddey was only 18 HIMSELF when he was drafted to the Thunder. So there was a time all he could've messed with were teenagers because HE was still a teenager. This is why the how long ago is important.
3. The internet is a vile place. The fact that we do not know the TRUE origin of the tweets/videos and it's basically random people off social media putting their spin on it with the possible to edits and photoshops and out of context clips just to push a narrative, right or wrong should make EVERYONE to hesitate until we get the REAL information through the NBA.
I dunno if he's guilty of not. I do know this was bad coincidental timing since as of right now the Thunder is tied at the top of the western conference. This distraction is going to affect the team without question.

Assuming the video was taken in an American club. Some countries drinking is 18. But also underage people get into these places all the time too.

I wish "real" skepticism (not conspiratorial skepticism) was practiced far more in our society. Way too many people take things at face value, especially when the allegations are of this type of nature. People want to judge immediately instead of letting evidence and facts come out.
