bullshyt. once the Bulls made the next leap and started winning championships the Pacers were the ONLY team to push them to 7 games

Okay let's pretend that the teams that I listed weren't bigger rivals than the Pacers. you obviously wasn't paying attention. Smh.

Stop cursing.

:lolbron:

Derrick Rose wouldn't approve of such high jinx and buffoonery.. He's much too focused, serious and humble...

LOL @ Penny being his 'true' rival. Dominique Wilkins, Joe Dumars, John Starks, and Reggie Miller were bigger rivals to MJ than Penny was.

shyt, they were dumb enough to call Gerald Wilkins the 'Jordan Stopper' and this is what happened...

LOL @ MJ shyttin on Gerald after the game 'the Jordan Stopper had a tough time tonight'

His swag was always ridiculous... Straight shytting on nikkas.
He did the same shyt to Clyde Drexler in 1992 after the media made the mistake of promoting the finals as a Jordan-Drexler duel.

Penny Hardaway was Jordan's only true rival?

:snoop:

:childplease:

By the way, all these people talking about the Pacers are conveniently forgetting the Pistons/Bulls rivalries.

what game? :rudy:

.

the 1998 playoffs

After disposing of the Cavaliers and Knicks in the playoffs, Indiana entered a much-anticipated meeting with the Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Pacers entered the series with confidence after splitting the four regular season games against the two-time defending champs. After dropping two close games in Chicago, the Pacers made Memorial Day Weekend memorable with two thrilling wins in front of a supportive home crowd at Market Square Arena. Miller, whose playoff heroics have defined his fine career, scored 13 of his 28 points in the final 4 and a half minutes of the 107-105 Game 3 win, despite a sprained ankle. His miraculous three-pointer with 2.7 seconds remaining in Game 4 gave the Pacers a 96-94 victory.

The home team held serve in the next two games, setting up a Game 7. In a classic performance by both teams, the Pacers held a 72-69 lead with less than nine minutes to play. The Bulls, who would go on to win their third straight NBA title, clamped down defensively, dominating the boards. Scottie Pippen hit a couple of big shots down the stretch to end the Pacers' season 88-83.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

they gloss over it, but Jalen Rose was ejected in game 5 of this series, for getting up off the bench, Pacers won but lost Game 6 when Rose was suspended.
