Im a real 80s baby (1981). I came up in with the hustlers and Gs that made Jordans and Nike popular. I was playing church league basketball in Foamposite Pearls in 97/98. And my family aint have money. We got it out the mud, fukk Russell. We studied them EAstbay magazines all thru the 90s. I moved to DC in 2004 and them boys had the shoe game of lock. I loved it. Around about 2010 or so, all these cornballs started trying to copy the OGs. And I remember them Galaxy Foams dropped and it totally screwed up the game. The shoe games was ruined, go to the mall to grab some foams or jays and there's 100s of 70 lbs surburban cacs and asians in line. Get online in see a 15 year old CAc with 100 pair of DS Concords. i was disgusted and started falling back from the game. Still cop a pair or two classic often but I waiting or overpaying for shyt.

Here we are now, i'm glad Jordans are corny now. Some of u still run out to get the latest Jordans that retro every 2 years like some suckers. And put them on as soon as you get them. smh Clown shyt. I'm glad Asics and New Balances are getting their shine. Real functional shoes.

I model my shoe collection after mr rogers. A different type of shoe specific to each specific use or purpose.
Casual Shoes,
Atheleic Shoes
Business casual shoes
Formal shoes
Work boots
Beach sandals
house shoes
Etc etc
I couldn't picture myself getting dozens and dozens of different color basketball shoes. Generally a dark and light version of each type is enough for me. but i still own dozens of shoes.
