Coli cant shyt on Barrett and Herro deals and then act like this ain’t an overpay.

But they had to do it so I’m not mad at it
Dudes on here like to play favorites depending on the player. It’s definitely an overpay, but they didn’t have a choice as they wouldn’t have had the cap space to replace him. Wiggins potentially becomes expendable himself if Kuminga emerges like people think he will.

I remember months ago when said GS fans kept insisting that the team was going to pay to keep everyone together even when the owners made it clear that wasn’t the case.

With the current cba it isn’t but that could potentially change with a new cba

They’ll still have to pay Kuminga/Moody/Wiseman so they’ll still have to made hard financial decisions at some point. Those young guys will make it easier to let the old core go when/if they become to expensive.

Steph is really the only untouchable old guy at this point even if others disagree about Klay.

$35 mil a year is most definitely an overpay for who he is as a player right now but maybe it won’t be for the duration of the contract. Time will tell.

But also unless he completely shat the bed this season he would’ve gotten a bag from someone on the open market anyway
Yeah I was expecting $100M.

Moody is interesting, does he have star power? Probably not but he fits the system while kuminga has the star power but he doesn’t fit the system yet. Klay needs a strong year and I expect him to
