Why do I get the feeling that’s pretty much the majority of player’s go to weakness now?
Talent pool for offense is higher than its ever been, you aren't forced to take a guy who "just shoots, but can't dribble or pass" because somewhere else you'll get the same shooter who can dribble and pass too. It ain't the 1990s where you have one guard who only passes at an elite level but can't drive or shoot, another who only shoots at an elite level but can't drive or pass, another who only drives at an elite level but can't shoot or pass, etc. And bad offense is damn near unplayable now that defenses know how to hedge off guys who can't score and force you to play 4-on-5. So one-dimensional offensive players have been marginalized from the league. There are fewer bad defensive players than ever before too, but their defensive weakness is more apparent cause there's no one left to hide them on.
