US is 8.5/10 Lupita Nyong’o absolutely put on an acting CLINIC in that film

Im fully aware of the time frames of the films he’s been involved in, I saw each one when it released.

Nope benefitted from having a 3 year gap, Us could’ve used more time and suffered because of that.

film didn’t seem rushed…the themes may have been a little too esoteric for some, but idk if more time would’ve helped since I don’t think it was JP’s intention to make it as straightforward as Get Out…

the only misstep by US was trying to make a scientific explanation for it. peele should have just leaned all the way in with supernatural. even with that, it was a 8+/10 film with a dope ending shot/song
