I understand what you mean and I have the same argument as I say I don't want to see another slave movie.

With that being said it doesn't mean they should never make another slave movie.

Because
1) slavery shouldn't be forgotten or glossed over.
2) I don't have to watch it if I'm not interested in it

right? shyt is kind of hustling backwards. we need to start our own genre of movies and not have it based off of racism all the time. Our biggest horror movie was evil racists white folks trying to steal our genes to become more superior....i mean come on now lol. Dope movie still.

I'm cool with Spike Directing but I think Jordan should let this be his 2nd film with Spike overseeing it. "Get Out" was definitely up Spike's alley so I'm not shocked they are working together. I'm just happy Jordan is keeping this up after "Get Out". I just don't want him to fall into the Hollywood blockbuster trap. I'm not saying he shouldn't do bigger films but why do Mega Blockbusters when you are making Mega Blockbuster money off Independent films? "Get Out" was one of the highest grossing movies of last year. As for the concept, I've heard of that guy in the past. Again I trust Spike and Jordan on this. I'm glad Spike is taking Jordan under his wing.
