Based on the article, it seems like the defense sent a deficiency letter or statement which is basically means the evidence wasn’t in good shape or sufficient enough and more than likely it wasn’t responded to.

So for them to begin the proceedings without the letter being addressed would have been foolish if they believe there is something flawed in the evidence gathering.

That’s why it was delay. There’s still housekeeping to be done before they can go thru the court process.

He is...just wrapped up season 2 of LOKI....And he's still on for upcoming marvel movies. Marvel and Disney can't afford another Johnny Depp situation.

I am pretty sure they did that before, hence why the case got pushed back to the formerly current date.

They holding this man up at the end of the day, taking his money with lawyer fees that he has to probably continue to pay until the trial. Not sure what deal him and his legal team cut.

All in the middle of a strike, so who knows when he’ll recoup his loses. And even IF he will because his reputation is at risk and if it’s tarnished enough, he potentially loses work (which I believe he already got dropped from some sort of MLB commercial deal if I’m not mistaken?)

Even based on what the public has been privy to, the story seems flimsy. I can’t imagine having to literally pay for so much bullshyt proceedings for something I’m not guilty of.
