She was being aggressive towards him in a cab so he had the driver pull over so he could get out. The video footage shows him exciting and she tried to go after him. He held her back and pushed her away from him and back into the cab.
That push to get her away is what they said was "assault" even though she got out the van and chased him for multiple blocks. She damn near got hit by a car running into traffic while pursuing him.
He was the actual victim and there's no evidence he's abused any other women.
