Hollywood is ruled by gay people and Jews. If you say something that's homophobic or anti-semite then you MUST apologize otherwise you won't get anymore movie roles. I don't think he really gives a shyt about offending gay people. He's just doing it for his career.
It's not that breh. You didn't have to apologize before. The world has changed. And while I'm all for the world becoming a more tolerant place and making it so that not everyone is offended, that comes with a price. Just like there are words and phrases that people in the 50s 60s and 70s said about black people or jewish people or any minority, there are words we used years ago that now people are extra offended by. And of course a lot of them said those words not trying to be offensive but that's just how they talked.
