Y'all act like Ambrose went out on top. His heel turn was botched, he got interrupted and punked out by Nia Jax before he could do a pipebomb style promo and got his ass kicked by Drew McIntyre twice. Those last few months were horrendous.

Senile Coke knew where he was going but Ambrose never made a big deal about his lack of direction and I'm sure that endeared him in Cokeboy's eyes.

Jon Moxley is a terrible name by the way. I don't care if that's his real name or old ringname but they should have come up with something better.

Look, just because you don’t like someone or their wrestling character doesn’t change the facts. He was a top 3 merchandise seller for three years in a row and was top 5 in the other years. He also won the “Most Popular Wrestler of the Year” award twice back to back in 2014 and 2015 by Pro Wrestling Illustrated.

Also it doesn’t matter at all how someone “goes out” in WWE. Everyone knows the moment that Vince realizes a talent is leaving he is going to bury them or cast them to the side in meaningless storylines. Look at Cody Rhodes last few years in WWE for example

You hear that massive pop last night? Vince can only dream of Roman getting a pop like that without having to constantly replay the leukemia clips in order to guilt the fans into cheering. (and that’s not a knock at Roman, it’s just pathetic WWE uses that sad situation to try and get him over)

Can't agree there breh, Dean Ambrose has a scumbag ring to it. That's a name you CAN'T trust. Jon Moxley sounds like I don't know.....I don't have a clever joke for it, but it's not as impactful on it's own. He'll make it work but Ambrose is just a better moniker.

It only sounds like that to you because youre used to the other way. Most of AEW's audience already knows Jon Moxley so its natual he wouldnt use his WWE moniker.

People didnt like "Dean Ambrose" when he switched to that, I rememeber people saying it sounded fake and weak lol.

Its just like the name shortening. Sounds weird and dumb at first, then it just becomes normal and the old way sounds weird. Just how it works. You dont hear anyone going around talmbout Antonio Cesaro and Alexander Rusev anymore.
