Warner Bros has released the first trailer for Joker: Folie à Deux, the sequel that stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.

Todd Phillips returns to direct and co-write the script for the sequel, which is billed as a drama with musical elements set in and around Arkham.

I'm calling it now. None of it is real. It all takes place in his head. It makes sense. Arthur is eccentric and he craves connection. Maybe Harley is in Arkham with him, but all the shyt they do is probably in his head.

I always laugh at these takes because every director for the most part is paying homage in some way to someone who came before them. Tarantino has made an entire career of it.

As long as you are doing it well (which Todd Phillips did, 11 Oscar nominations last 'Joker' ) and adding your own wrinkles to it, there shouldn't be an issue...
