Never really liked 'Man On Fire', the dude was in Mexico City without even a change of clothes, taking on legions of organized crime, and was a full blown, shaky hands alcoholic weeks before. It was too much Tony Scott bullshyt, quick cuts/editing, loud action sequences. That said, the ending/Alonzo's death in 'Training Day' was pretty weak, turned what should have been an important scene into a meaningless action sequence. Should have done it in a way that would have been more surprising, plus low key, not some 'Rambo II' bullshyt.

so pretty much you missed the entire point of the movie.. which was he lost his way and dakota fanning brought his life back on track, which is the whole point of him being so revengeful of her kidnapping
