@MartyMcFly @hex What is your opinion on these situations?

I'd have to read a few reviews to get a over all vibe for the criticism but I don't put much faith in critics.

If you go back and check reviews for some universally accepted classic movies a gang of them got :ld: reviews.

Having said that, there's a gang of terrible movies that made major $ so I'm gonna have to check this out myself.

Fred.

oh, just watch the trailer and tell me this isn't horrible lol

This looks like 88 Minutes with Travolta in an 80's suit

edit: or never mind the trailer and just take a look at the poster

He showed the world who's boss.

"in addition, the vibrant, rap-infused score by Pitbull, which features three solo tracks by the popular artist, doesn’t quite jibe with the movie’s general style and tone". -LA Times

just stop lol

Just saw the movie

it wasn't great

but it wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen

If you've watched any documentary on Gotti or even seen the HBO Gotti film of the 90s (which is a better movie) then there's nothing new to see here.

Similar to how the Tupac movie was, it's basically his Wikipedia page created on film

No revolutionary film making found here, but if u can watch it for free and u like Mafia flix I say watch it

It's no Goodfellas but its watchable

Just don't pay for it

But this wide a gap is fuccing riudcilous. You know the critics were in there feelings about this movie.

I saw it yesterday. It's awful. Not the worst movie ever, but definitely in the discussion for worst mob movie ever.

The one thing you expect from every mob movie is great violence, and this movie can't even do that right. The acting's atrocious, every actor and actress involved should be embarrassed. The guy playing John Jr is the LVP, and it don't help that despite the fact the movie spans 30 years this Ronnie-from-Jersey-Shore-looking motherfukker doesn't age A DAY. And the music? They play Pitbull's Don't Stop the Party during an 80s block party. John Gotti sneaks outta jail to hit someone and they play the Shaft theme.

That said, if you like watching so-bad-it's-good movies like me I'd highly recommend it. I'm not gonna act like I didn't have fun laughing at the bad accents and bad dialogue. Pretty much every scene with Travolta's wife was gold.
