He called my local radio station (in his home state) and they were all buddy buddy cracking jokes and laughing. They started taking some callers and some dude was like "tell them the bet you lost with so and so in college" Cena acted like he didn't know what he was talking about and the dude was like "oh so you don't remember them all holding you down while he took a shyt on you" and Cenas whole mood changed for the rest of the interview, no more jokes just all tough guy shyt. Kinda made me believe the caller

Yeah they immediately tried to force Austin vs McMahon on us in the form of cena and easy e. Suddenly he was getting his ass kicked every week and facing impossible odds and instead of having back and forth matches, we started seeing the five moves of doom comebacks every match while guys like Jericho and angle were presented as corporate ass kissers and as totally inferior and the crowd saw through it right away. The audience saw through it so bad that by New Years revolution 2006, a non smark city went crazy when the top heel in the sport arguably stole the title in the sleaziest of manners (money in the bank). Honesty management sabotaged cena as bad as anyone since him.
Historically he should of been a stand out but in truth, he's all hype, lazy, and his push has halted too many stars to be elite across the board.
