As a wrestler and mark for himself I'm as dubious on Phil as you might be

But he's was great on the mic in a snarky kind of way and is popular with the comic con/ G4 Nerdist crowd and was a regular on Talking Dead and NHL programs and pretty good on the few talk shows he's been on (Kimmel, Fallon). You dont think he could have done movies playing a smart ass wisecracking character actor or crossed over in a pop culture kind of way?:ehh:

I think he could have been a popular alternative kind of genre actor doing smaller comic book movies, comedies, action mores or culty quirky horror movies, which end up being the big box office surprises as the last few years have shown

He was born to play Casey Jones or a Deadpool type character or Ash from Evil Dead type character in my mind

I dont know I always kind of saw it:yeshrug:

I thought he was going to fall into that circuit when he left. I could easily playing a douchebag store clerk if they ever get round to making Mallrats 2. :ehh:

Thats an easy one, but I honestly would have liked to have seen how he would have done in 12 Rounds the sequel instead of Randy like he was supposed to because I dont think he would have settled with just playing the straight bland leading man that all these WWE studios make the wrestlers do. He would have insisted on some wisecracks. Like I said its almost on the nose for him to play a grouchier Wade Wilson/Casey Jones type.
