this shyt nice. I was GASSSED on the kid first time I heard him. anticipated the tape like a motherfukker, finally dropped & I went and grabbed a pack of Ports & just rode around listening all night -- hadnt felt a album that strongly in YEARS!

but since then I haven't really played it much to be honest -- no staying power? doesn't reward repeated listening?? I'm not really sure what it is, but I'm just not really drawn to it after that first rush.
The throwback sound is cool, but that cant be all. I know in a interview he said that his production in the future is gon be more electronic influenced. Maybe that'll do it?
