Off the first couple of listens this is a worthy follow up to 1999. Someone on Reddit described this as a luxury 1999 which is the perfect description. The only flaws are the Westside Gunn features (can’t stand his ad libs) and Chris Brown with his terrible Ty $ impression.

Too early to rate it but this is sounding like the best rap album of the year.

Listening to this now.

It's solid right now, which is to be expected from Joey Bada$$ at this point.

I appreciate how he's improved his enunciation since 1999 - I always loved his flow and style, but sometime he'd lose words

This album is hard and flows effortlessly. The Chris Brown track sticks out but it's not even like a Summer On Smash or Hello Brooklyn.

He really got 4 albums I can just let play all the way through. 1999 might be considered a mixtape but that was a free album.

Summer Knights is 5. I love that tape.
