I guess at the end of the day being in Slaughterhouse is a better alternative than. Working for MTA
Hell no, it isn't. You get a pension for working for MTA, right? You don't have to associate with Joe Budden if you work for MTA. You don't appear on a radio program hosted by Sway in 2024 half-crying if you work for MTA.

Joell is pathetic. Dude said he was hopping off and then half-threatened Joe cause he's a p*ssy and then waited another ten seconds hoping Joe would apologize. All while Royce smirking like a bytch.

shyt was so funny. Joell and Crooked eye ran a whole campaign and made an album about the fall of SH (least to me from the outside looking in) and wanted Joe to support it :dead:

Slaughterhouse should have had a main producer.

They are sll technically good rappers. But the only members I'm actually checking for were Joe and Royce as far as what they are actually saying. Yes, Joe is a nutcase but he's still more interesting than Joel and crooked. So the bottom line is that the group wasn't balanced. Because it wasn't balanced, both joell and crooked were more dependant on the group

I tried with them cats cause I was always the “true hip hop head” of my crew. But something just never stuck with me with SH as a collective.

Like , I’m a huge Running Rebels fan, but their albums are straight Stacey Augmon rookie card status to me… not mad that I paid to be a completionist, but them shyts is chilling somewhere at mom dukes crib and I can’t say I miss it.

They didn’t have the right chemistry. They’d be nicer with Kid Vicious as a member. Or Ransom/ Elzhi. It was too much. Plus they don’t have a Method Man or Flava Flav type. They were dangerously lacking charisma.

The idea of SH was better than the reality of SH. Joe don’t need them. Joell and Crooked ain’t got nothing else going on. And Royce is chilling.

This might be their best song.

Slaughterhouse definitely could’ve used a singular producer. I liked the first album and one of those mixtapes they did (I think one that had a song they did over a Kanye single), but that second album was horrendous. That single with Cee-Lo was putrid. They’re all dope artists in their own right, but a group of 4 spitters should not at all be rapping over those lame Skyler Grey/Em hopeful anthemic ass beats.

This was their formula. Just straight spit until the track ends. That’s all anybody that listened to their music wanted to hear from them. Any rap fan should have zero complaints about these.

But the truth of the matter is, 4 degenerates with varying mental conditions that all truly believe they were rap superstars despite years of being unsuccessful solo coming togther to form a super group was never going to work/last. And I actually enjoyed both their albums and the unreleased stuff :manny:
This paragraph sums up the true reality
