It's not really a freak injury, his biggest problem and why he's getting hurt is because he doesn't know how to land. They need to work on his leg strength, his core and focus on how he comes down after he jumps. He often lands straight legged and on his heels which is basically the worst possible way to come down.

that's the one thing I noticed early on also. he was always slipping and landing awkwardly while on the floor. he's going to have to figure that out.

He definitely got hurt against the Blazers, but the fact they let him play a week later is just if they knew his knee had a torn meniscus.

After they said he was out indefinitely I didn't expect him to play again this season, but if he requires surgery then it's legit and somebody should be fired for letting him play and practice. If he doesn't need surgery then yeah they're just trying for a pick.
