But the argument Shaq made against Gobert was that he didn't live up to the contract because Gobert wasn't the driving force on a championship team.
The same would seem to apply to Embiid.

Ironically, the main reason Bucks made it to the Finals was because the #5 seed Hawks beat the #1 seed Sixers in round 2. That is, Joel, Ben, and Doc Rivers with home court lost to Trae Young and John Colins... with Trae shooting 5 for 23 in game 7 on the road in Philly... and the Hawks still prevailed.

Wasn't there already some tension between Ben and Jimmy when they were both on the Sixers, which influenced Jimmy to leave the team?
There was tension between the two, but Philly essentially picked Harris over Butler when trading him and then offering Harris the extension right after hence the “Tobias Harris over me” comments.
