Naw it's not faq shyt to censor yourself it's called being respectful
If Joe thought it was morally wrong to say it, he would censor it. I'm at the way that people find ways to defend adults for their actions.
Do you breh we can disagree. But this isn't the hill I personally would die on to defend Joe Rogan of not being racist
We can agree that he is racist. There's plenty of examples to show that. Him quoting someone who said it isn't disrespectful, inflammatory or derogatory as is the person who originally said it.
It's all about context. He was not being disrespectful by directly quoting that guy. It's not like that man didn't say that word but Joe inserted it, he directly and accurately quoted what that guy said which happened to be the word.
If he wasn't directly quoting then he would be paraphrasing. This wasn't a long drawn out speech that needed to be shortened for time, it was a few sentences therefore a direct quote was appropriate.
That word can be said within context (this being a perfect example) without being derogatory or disrespectful. About 99% of the time when they say it they are using it in a derogatory or disrespectful manner.
To be one of those believers that the word or any particular words should never leave a person or a certain person lips is stupid. I'd punch someone in their face for telling me I could never say something just as fast as I would punch someone's for saying nikka in a disrespectful or derogatory manner.
