We're about to have 4-8 years of Republican majority rule soon. Only then do I imagine Americans realizing the trouble Republicans have caused. It's going to get worse before it gets better because people don't think fire burn.

Ehh to me politics is like a nba playoff game where after every game there is a overreaction

When it looked like Hillary was gonna win leading up to the election there was talk about how republicans are out of touch and how they may never win again if they don’t change

After Trump won there was talk the democrats are out of touch and if they don’t change could they ever win again

Point is it’s cyclical and nobody rules for too long

This is who he always was. He was never a true Bernie supporter, he only endorsed him because he thought it would help Trump win. He avoided openly supporting Trump to protect his brand but he was always a right winger pretending to be a liberal pothead.

More than likely, he’s just an idiot and a coward who morphs into whoever is in front of him. Right wing guest, right wing Joe. Left wing guest, left wing Joe.

Ninja turtle looking ass should just STFU about politics. Stick to MMA and Big Foot Donatello.

He doesn't fellate the DNC.

No. It’s because he’s an idiot and a coward when it comes to politics and important shyt like the pandemic response.

He can have all the bad takes when it comes to inconsequential stuff like moon landing, 9/11, vitamins and other nonsense, but when it comes to important matters, people have every right to call him out for his idiotic takes.

For someone you don't like you sure do know a whole lot about what he has to say. Just ignore him.

I used to be a big fan of the podcast from the get go first in 2007. It was an enjoyable show to listen to back when his guests were scientists, historians and comedians etc. Then he moved to Austin and became an insufferable twat with his misinformed hot takes and cowardice.

What's with the Rogan hate?.
Well, if nothing else, he backed DeSantis for president.

Also. he's become a grifter that siphons people further to the right. He's also become a smug, rich, elitist a$$hole. Typical right wing talking points all the time. A huge portion of his own sub-reddit has even turned on him.

Ehhh, I mean that's traditionally been the history, but America is slipping into outright facism.

I remember the days when Rogan was a "Bernie supporter". There was this dude in this other forum I frequented who used to vociferously argue that Joe Rogan was "Liberal". How wrong that looks in hindsight

Yep. He just says he's a liberal. Like...you gotta look past people's self definitions into what they're actually saying. Rogan. Tim Pool. Jordan Peterson. Whoever. They can all claim they're left or liberal all day long, but if they constantly spout off pro right-wing talking points, and talk down on serious left ideas, then they're just fukking conservatives that are calling themselves otherwise.

It's crazy to me that people can listen to someone clearly be a conservative (hitting almost every bullet point down the conservative checklist), and then be willing to believe that person isn't conservative, just because they don't actually call themselves a conservative. Joe Rogan can say he's a liberal all day, but he's gonna vote Republican and support Republican policies.

I'll admit I used to listen to Rogan, the variety of guests he has on meant you could often see interesting convos, but after covid and shyt and hearing all the criticisms I began to realise how much he pushed right wing talking points, constantly going on about the Clinton's and shyt...
