I gotta take this into perspective.

Paterno knew and turned it over but still allowed this mother fukker to be on his campus and associated with him his team. Saw a man he knew had allegations of molesting children and had repeated allegations of sexual molestation open a kids camp and gave him access to football facilities.

Paterno might as well have been raping those kids himself.

Could be true. If Paterno and the other guys were just worried about their jobs and program, they would get rid of Sandusky once they hear any rumors and hope it never materializes.

Eh it's a fraternity of a very select group. This is the 70/80s and shyt was handled differently. Coaches don't want to risk future jobs.JoePa had an image to protect and he was willing to sacrifice kids to maintain it. Its no surprise most dudes in positions of authority are degenerates in one area or more. JPs ego cared more about wins than kids. No smiley can equate my disgust. I get the self preservation part, I just don't see why he kept the guy around afterward. It would have been easier to cut ties with him based on unrelated strategic differences and if allegations ever came out later, he could just play dumb to them.
