This is the exact turning point of his career. After this match, which was great(but mostly due to Seth and Cena), Brock went to this suplex city shyt and hasn't looked back. His moveset is like 4 moves now and he can't be motivated to add variety or have better matches.

They need to have him put over some people and then retire. He's mailing it in at this point.

Or he's being booked to wrestle like that by Vince and Levesque.

That's what the brain dead marks on this board don't get. There is ZERO appeal to the work rate of a FAKE fight. That would be like asking a basketball fan to be interested in a 100% scripted basketball game

The appeal is always in the character, and Draw Lesnar is still BY FAR the biggest attraction in wrasslin, that's why these crowds are red hot for him

Brock's appeal isn't gonna be in 20 minute mat classics. He did those back in the smackdown six era, it's just not needed from him in 2017.

people want/expect explosions and violence from him he'd be doing his character a bit of a disservice to be doing 20 minute matches with "non martial artists" from a psychology standpoint not that psychology is employed as much as it ought to be with this company.

Joe showing Brock can be hurt IF you take the fight to him instead of letting him come to you (which was also his Achilles heel in mma) was the story that needed to be told last night, and it didn't need to be drawn out to get there.
