:russ:@ the PED shyt

:ohhh:You brought up a good point. That may have been the best Peterson ever. He was really on his shyt. He was in total control. Wherever he wanted the fight is where they fought at. Very poised. Really good performance.

Yup that's why I felt some type of way about it, nikka fought the fight of his career and got robbed :francis:

People say he didn't do anything the first half but Danny did even less, while getting outlanded and letting PED control the fight.

I think the best Peterson I ever saw was against ****. That nikka beasted during that fight, even though I had him losing the 1st 2 or 3 rounds.

who the fukk is **** tho, I won't say he is a jobber but dude's have made careers off of giving him Ls

beasting on Danny>>>>>

I only gave Danny 3 rounds on my card as well :manny:

Not sure how this turned into a discussion about the Garcia/Peterson fight :what: (Lamont won that fight going away imo)

Again, Prime vs. Prime, it's anyone's fight. Joe was a very smart fighter himself and above all else he was never someone to lose confidence in the ring. I don't see anybody beating Joe easy at 168.

It was the most energized he looked in years & I attribute it to the catch weight. Nygga took a couple of Swift right hands with no problem. He has probably got knockdown so many times, because he drains himself.

I had doubts about Lamont @ WW, but if he's gonna come like that he should just make the move. Plenty of guys there that moved up like him.

**** is a solid B level guy that can crack with both hands. He knocked out Diaz (who Porter and Khan both struggled hard with)

Peterson only beasted on Danny for 2 or 3 rounds to me. He beasted on **** much longer. Hell, he beasted on Khan a lot longer too.

I feel if you beast on a nikka you gotta win the fight or at least be more convincing with the performance.

Beltran beasted on Burns and got robbed way worse than Lamont did against Danny.

Ring generalship factored into my card as well I think it was 9-3 but yeah Danny was fighting PED'S fight the whole night while getting out landed and hit with harder shots :francis:

He showed improvements from the Herrera fight but PED was in rare form :whew: he would have given anybody a tough fight that day.
If Peterson only have started walking down danny they couldn't have taken it away from him

**** a B fighter :francis:

As far the rest ill chalk it up to different preference in scoring.

Dude had some nice boxing attributes and held a title.

I'm not saying he's a B+, but I wouldn't say he's a C+ level guy either. He's pretty much competitive against everybody he fights. I just feel like that has to count for something. He gave a young Swift a pretty good scrap and had Bradley doing the crip walk in mid-air.

In the overall scheme of things he's not really that bad and is a decent name to have on your record (better if you dominate him like Lamont did.)
I think he's a better fighter than Stiverne. :manny:

I disagree wholeheartedly...

I do not see any version of Joe Calzaghe beating any version of Andre Ward...Calzaghe was a smart boxer but its a bad matchup for him stylistically against Ward...Like someone else mentioned, Calslappy struggled with an old Hopkins who also dropped him in that fight...Hopkins ended up losing that close fight because he got outworked, had nothing to do with quality or intelligence...He was too old to keep up with Calslappy...Ward don't have that problem and he's a quicker bigger puncher than Hopkins...

Easy work for Ward...

**** was a champion breh..and cracked timmy with some heat..first fight timmy was involved in that entertaining

Exactly,

Winning belts usually moves a boxer up a notch in my eyes, but even then their are levels to this. Stiverne and K9 held titles, but I wouldn't put them on the same level as ****. Those 2 are C+ guys and **** is like half a notch above them making him a B level fighter. For the most part, a boxer has to be at least a C+/B level guy to even win a title and even then some B level guys like Tua never won one. nikkas is downplaying that accomplishment like how cats downplay knockouts.

Also one of the biggest myths in boxing is that Hopkins fought a prime Calzaghe. :snoop: So many nikkas keep referring to that fight it doesn't even make sense to ever put Joe in a mythical match up cuz nikkas will overlook his whole career and use the Calzaghe from his final fights.

That's like using the Sweet Pea that fought Tito in a mythical match up against the Hatton that beat Kostya.
