Did nikkas watch the video :skip: He said “that album can suck my dikk” the album is talking greasy about the other bandmates :mindblown:why would they support it?

And Joell never said when they turned down the deal! The public perception of them not being thirsty is leverage. It’s been a year since getting off Shady and those two needed a bag.:feedme:Starving!
They took the first option and selling the album off drama by dissing the other two because they wanted to get shyt together before getting back in the exact same position as shady :scust:Nasty

...but both have solo careers and other ventures?

Apparently Joe wanted to finance the Slaughterhouse project, but Crooked is saying he doesn't trust Joe to finance the project, if he wouldn't even call him back. He said Joe wanted more than them to get on stage when they performed because he was on L&HH. He said if he financed the project, imagine how much he'd want back.

To be fair, if he financed it, he should get the lump share. But I also wouldn't trust Joe to see through an entire project

In other words, Joe wanted to “Rory & Mal” them nikkas and they told him “kick rocks :camby:

kinda drives home my Freddy P point… They can’t get buzz on their own so now they want promotional hand outs. What’s next they gonna ask psycho Joe for money that they shoulda made over the years? Or claim Joe blackballed them?

This was sad af to see… I hate to see a grown man beg

They have a solid fanbase. They're 40+ so they aren't gonna garner many new fans. Neither Joe nor Royce is that popular. Even his L&HH fans only know him for Pump it Up.

This mainly started because Joe reviewed their HARD album, and they ended up on a conference call. Joe claimed that he was inspired and had started writing again and was possibly ready to do something. He was talking about heading to Royce studio and such, and Joell was like if you're serious then we can test the temperature. From there, it's been a series of pump fakes from Joe.

I believe that Joell really loves Joe, but Crooked can go one way or the other. And Joe is the type of the most toxic people to know. Even if Joe had agreed, the odds were in favor of him backing out at some point. Hell, imagine having him finance it. Dude would prob disappear at different points, and pull his backing. He's too fickle.

Royce is just a jerk.

From the outside looking in it always seemed like:

Royce and Joe are friends
Crooked and Joell are friends
Crooked and Royce are friends
Joell and Royce are cool
Joell and Joe were cool-ish...
Joe and Crooked aren't friends but were cordial with each other

Which is funny considered Crooked is the one that made the call to bring his Crip homies for protection for Joe after Rae's homie knotted his eye. Potentially sabotaging a relationship with the whole Wu.

From what I read about the situation on this Joell/Crooked project I kinda understand Royce and Joe's viewpoint/

Its a project called rise and fall of slaughthouse and them basically lamenting on the fall out, with the logo and everything. I can somewhat see as the 2 owners/creators of the group why this could feel weird though Joell/Crooked just expressing themselves as artist. Sometimes you dont have creative freedom without checking in on the other 2 you speak of

Its kind of become a viral hit. For this to cross a million views in a couple of weeks for underground rappers is kind of big. And their second vid which was released 2 days ago also hit a mil so clearly its getting attention.

I agree Royce and Joe kinda came off a bit hoeish in the IG live, but maybe they got a point.

if royce/joe have said it's dead already, they should have zero issue with joell/crooked saying it either.

I’m just mad we didn’t get glasshouse honestly..

they’re first album was good just from a hip hop heads perspective because it was simply dope rappers over some dope beats, but it didn’t really have any structure or direction so the chemistry didn’t sound like it was there..

their second album they obviously went in to make an actual “album”…but of course they were forced to use some truly truly awful cheesy poppy Eminem type beats they didn’t suite them at all, fans rightfully called it some sellout trash

the third album, from what literally everybody who worked on it has said (Just, Illmind, Cardiak ect) sounds like it was an incredible well produced and well put together cohesive album with some substance…looks like they finally got it right and we’ll never get to hear it :francis:
