Did you fall asleep to the 10 minute song like i did 20 years ago? Took me a whole decade and a half to get the courage to hear the album again. Was scared i might have the same reaction but its an okay album. In hindsight, joe budden had the talent but his artistry didnt match if that makes sense. In other words, they were forcing him into a sound that wasnt for him. The beats were trash and he was trying way too hard where it was forced. I could tell joe budden was more of a depressed rapper than a flashy one. He needed a havoc type of production. A harder sound.
What angered me was how they butchered that remake of the scenario remix with what is pump it up. What the fukk was that? If he just rapped on the scenario remix, he would have been better off.

Labels often don't pay for certifications on time, and they certainly don't pay on time for artists that were dropped/released like Joe was. I'd bet money that Pump It Up technically went gold before 2010.
