It's not only that. It all stems back from when he went up there to promote his last album. He had personal relationships wit them and they was all tryna play him the whole time.
Nah he's been shytting on Cthagod low key way before these disses came out. His beef started during his last Breakfast Club interview because they kept joking about his domestic violence case. And you could tell he was annoyed. He even mentioned it the next day on Hot 97 that they're buffoons on that show.

I'm not saying it's impossible to present an argument that Budden shouldn't diss Drake....but Char isn't the person. Not when he spent years shytting on Drake for seemingly no reason....but Budden, whose job it is to rap, does it and Char is like "I don't understand, why, what's the point?"

It's wild corny breh. And to make matters worse he didn't even mention the IG song, which started the whole thing. He flat out said "I don't know why Budden is dissing Drake" and then basically used that as a reason why Budden shouldn't diss Drake.
