And the nepotism argument is the dumbest argument of them all. They can't make millions of people like someone just because they are kin. Swizz >>>> Dame Grease. Ya'll continue to push dude over Swizz and its nearly laughable. Dame had heat, but he produced 4 songs on the worst Nas album to date. The songs are ok, but alone those beats are nothing special. He peaked in 1997-1998. Since 1999, Swizz>>>> Dame Grease.

Millions of people liking something doesn't mean it's up to the standard of something less popular.

I'm not a fan of Dame Grease either btw.

Big facts.

I liked Grease's work with X though. That was the perfect match on the debut. And X preferred to work with Grease, so I always thought it was wack that they were trying to get X more work with Swizz and didn't just let him oversee his own sh*t. His best album was the first one, and that was Grease and PK all day. X was never able to top that one. Grease has like 40+ tracks he worked on with X before he passed, that he's trying to put out on Vacant Lot, but Swizz is fighting him on it, apparently.

First three albums, I f*cked with, back then.

Not gonna front like I listen to them all the time, but "N*ggas Done Started Something" with the LOX, is still my sh*t! Heard that on a Clue tape first. Also produced by Grease, lol.

And yet every time he goes against Timbo in front of a crowd he gets bodied.

Swizz aged like shyt.

The problem with Swizz isn't the age. He has classics. Swizz fell off quick. Drag-On's debut was his fall off and he struggled until Cassidy's "Hotel". Then came T.I.'s "Bring Em Out". There's still some dope songs in between like "Big Business", Lil' Kim's "This Is Who I Am" and X's "You Could Be Blind" and Shyne's "S.H.Y.N.E.".

Tim is one of the best ever lol

I think most producers in that bucket would wreck him too though, that's the problem. He has undeniable records but his shyt just doesn't age well like Tim or Pharrell or Just Blaze or whoever else you put in that super producer class. Those off key, cheap midi-sounding flutes and horns aren't measuring up lol.

You must think I'm crazy. I wouldn't put any of those dudes in a crowd battle against Swizz, he'd win because the crowd won't know the other beats besides a handful lol. I'm strictly talking about super producers. Swizz does not compare to the others.
