Swizz Beatz is everything that people accuse Jay Z of except in Swizz's case, its true:

1) Elevated by Beyonce. His work on B'Day not only extended his run, but elevated him. "Check On It" was a #1 hit. "Get Me Bodied" is still one of those songs that has people doing line dances.

2) Kanye kept him relevant. Whether it was the beat battle that he lost to Swizz or Swizz's contributions to Watch The Throne and the Good Friday series.

3) Keeping himself in the company of other greats.

Most of swizz shyt is horrible but it's so hype/anthem like people will have a tough time in a verzuz. But objectively the beats sound like pots and pans - he has a few classics but if you listen to the instrumentals without the raps nah

Nah, Swizz gets his props from me, but recent years, he's been elevated to Mt. Rushmore of producers status. Like when they were doing these "one gotta go". They had Swizz in there with Kanye, Tim, and the Neptunes. Billboard did a Top 30 producers of all time and Swizz was #9 over Timbaland.

Swizz's peak was 1998-2001. Then he had this comeback of 2003-2008. He has joints, but I see Swizz as more Top 25 than Top 5 or Top 10.

I'm not a huge fan of Swizz production.

He has some beats I love, but his average beat just doesn't hit for me and his lows are dreadful.

With that said, he's for sure smoking most people I have over him in a Verzuz type format because he makes super uptempo songs that rock large crowds.

Same but my only issue is that he won(at least I see as general Coli consensus)the Versus vs Timbaland when Timothy has Musical Greatness that would Banish Swizz in ways Pete Rock wished he could
