I fukk with it, it's not fluid enough though, disjointed......Best diss is like Jada 'Checkmate', clear delivery, quick beat, no hook, bit memorable and strong lines....That said, obviously, a lot of Drakes most rabid fan base, the girls I know who are 23-25, are likely never even going to hear this, and it won't change a thing in how they perceive Drake.

and the catch is if he doesn't respond, it never happened. If he responds like 'Back 2 Back', it's going to raise his profile and cement his status more, (among that demographic) but clearly Joe didn't do it for the (casual) hip hop fan, where bars and authenticity don't matter.

Joe has always had this problem. I came in to say the same thing. A couple of bars here and there, but they were too spread out and he nor the beat brought the energy to really hold my attention like that. Compare this to Gucci's "The Truth".... or Cam'ron's "Stan"... or KRS-1's "Bridge Is Over".... my 3 favorite disses of all time.... doesn't hold a candle. Joe rambles too much. Musically he only appeals to nikkas who walk around looking at their feet talking to themselves.

You might be right. This shyt is weird. I remember when the beat on a diss wasn't a big deal it was just filler for the actual bars.
