It seems like it's been open season on Drake from his "hip hop" contemporaries ever since he reacted so "un-hip hop" like to the "Control" verse. In a game that was birthed and sharpened on competition, he went out like a sucker and complained when the verse wasn't even a diss. Now he's found this interesting lane of gorilla pimping and subliminally dissing and allowing his fans and corporate buddies to do the leg work on everybody. I want to see Drake blackout, but Joe has seemed to put him in a boxed in position. Joe has positioned himself as the voice of "rage" against the "machine" (Drake). "Nothing's been the same since a sensitive rapper got tucked back in in his pajama clothes"- Two Kendrick's ago :pachaha:

budden is a genius for this shyt once again

the only people that get mad at buddens are people that know exactly why they hate him ... but cant admit how smart he is like it discredits their intelligence :russ:

this is a win win situation, either nobody responds and it looks like he sons everyone .... or they throw sub par disses back and he pretends that he put the battery in everyone's back ... or he gets totally destroyed and pretends it was all fun and games and they are all still cool .."its for the love of the game" :russ: this nikka fukks people over with the easiest pokerface

ooBeen thumbing through the comments and i can almost see who has 2K ADHD when it comes to absorbing content with the immidiate gratification syndrome. On the strength of the thought proces alone behind some of Joe's bars, you have to respect what he did lyric wise.I think he could have done a better job at structuring the song because a good diss record does not have to be bars upon bars.I will say that Drake can ignore this record without too much of a problem to his credibility as a pop star. His ego will have something to say about that though and my guess is thats what Joe is counting on so he can keep the back and forth going.Dope song but too long in my opinion and not as good as his Ransom and Saigon records

Nah, joeseph went in. If it wasnt a 2000 beat or flow it wouldve been harder. But we'll see how Drake respond. Drake is the king of using his platform to say shyt.. And hes not in the category of nikkas that lack bars, especially after the clear dismantle of meek.

But Joe isnt meek lyrically... No gimmicks in wordplay, and actually used a Drake snippet correctly.

I think Drake will dimiss it but if not, it will be fun to watch
