Kendrick probably had plans to bring Wayne out and perform with him at the show, probably was going invite Master P too for the nostalgia.
But these nikkas had to be sour grapes and here we are :francis:

if we being real, Wayne already got bodied in Man At the Garden. Whole track was Kendrick saying how much he puts into his work, and is willing to sacrifice to have what he claims himself as. Juxtaposed against Wayne, who can't get off the lean long enough to get his mind right for a show featuring and all about him and ends up putting on a horrible performance because he'd rather be lit than be professional :yeshrug: 'Tell me why you deserve the greatest of all time, motherfukker'

This gon make nikkas mad but... Wayne been calling himself the best without putting in the work for longer than his prime actually lasted. That Carter/Dedication/etc run was potent but it was not long, and dude been a husk of himself since the 2010s. He don't want it with Kendrick. Wayne didn't want it with Gillie. And if it looks like he's coming in to try and rescue Drake it'll look twice as terrible when Kendrick brings back the Tammy situation :picard:

If he didn't call him prior to putting that "I'm broken" video up, there is no conversation to be had at this point.

Dot will give him a couple bars but he not going to full on diss this emotional n*gga.
Why does he need to call him? He didn’t say Kendrick didn’t deserve it - he even said in the video that he blames himself for expecting he would get it in the first place.

If Kendrick should have any issue it should be with everyone on the internet who was saying Wayne should’ve got it over him cause Wayne didn’t say that. Kendrick is making the situation bigger than it is so he can put it in raps because he knows his fans/cult eats that shyt up lol

Wayne had done what Kenny did 100 times lol

And he did all this before he turned 25.

Wayne saved a label from death.

Stop it.

Wayne did - in past tense.
So literally as I said - he's been living off a run from over 10 years ago while adding no more value to the culture since than he deducts by his presence and influence.

Rap filled with a bunch of Wayne's kids. And 99% of them have made rap worse for existing - not better.
Because their GOAT has spent his entire run on top being a degenerate lean addict who no one wanted to tell to go get help so he can live to see the flowers he deserves to get for being an inspiration and a rap legend.

...We just had Dot talk down to another man about being a deadbeat father, a terrible cultural influence and having addictions he can't get under control.

Literally every single one of those things can be leveled at Wayne. And worse. Wayne said he doesn't believe in racism while a whole-ass black man from the South. He's been insulated from reality since he was a teenager. Stop this.

IF this is true I doubt Kendrick is going to respond back tbh, it would be a lose lose situation
On Daylyts stream he said that Kendrick won’t respond back to him if he does because he didn’t diss him and he respects him too much to do that.

Wayne going to do the same thing as Cole if he actually goes through with it and kiss the ring cuz he got spared.

We all know how this hypothetical "battle" between these two would turn out. It would be the equivalent of yamcha vs. beast gohan but I still want to see this for the sheer entertainment of it all.

I know this nikka Kendrick finna do a character analysis/audio drama on this nikka over 30 year old bounce beats. :mjlol:

This is false - Wayne was in and around the top rappers from like 05 but was undisputedly the top rapper from Dedication 2 to Carter 4 which was like 5 years. Not even 50’s run was that long - the only rapper who’s had a longer run is Drake who’s his protege. Eminem doesn’t count either because he’s white so the majority of his fan base don’t even like hip hop - they just like Em.

If people are going to try and compare this Kendrick era to the Wayne era then they’re deluded because after all the gas, he only did 291k first week - Travis Scott did more first week off a re-release so at this point Kendrick’s run can’t be mentioned in the same breath as Wayne’s.

As a Kendrick fan I hope this project was a warm up to the main event because it’s a disappointing project to drop to coronate yourself as the king of the game, especially after all the shyt you had to do this year to get yourself in position. I’m hoping he’s got something special to drop around the Super Bowl so he’s the indisputable King of Rap because he’s been gunning for this spot for over 10 years now.
