100%, just like 90% of the entire rap game heard them, even just a semi famous rapper like Joe Budden, that’s throwing a direct diss track at drake is being heard

Yes of course they are about the same level as rappers in the public sphere.
They give each other a huge amount of respect and are extra careful with their words.
Pusha literally came and sat on the podcast with Joe for 3 hours
No other show had him on as long except Drink Champs for as long. But when his more recent album dropped only Drink Champs had him on.
He came across as extra corny to me and I listen to his raps.

And Push been sending shots at that camp. He didn't need any help or motivation from Joe. I wanted Joe to get him out of here, but his approach was just as wack as Drakes in this battle.

I think Budden was trying to say that he was the first to open the can of worms.. then came a bigger artist in Meek…. Then came a more respected artist in Pusha… then came both a bigger/respected artist in Kendrick
Rap is a popularity contest… everybody says the same shyt but it took someone on Drake’s level to finally damage the armor. The perfect time to go at somebody is when their music is starting to sound stale/repetitive I.e. Ross at 50, 50 at Ja, etc cuz some of the ppl that would’ve been on his side a year prior are looking for somebody that looks invincible to lose
