So when a regular straight man tells them they just look “okay” they get extra confused.

To be honest, I think black women on average look better without weave and/or too much makeup anyway.

I like Kelly but I don't agree with the rating. I posted more pictures of Kelly but it is hard to find a picture of her without makeup and weave that is flattering. Look at these below. The 1st and 3rd picture are the only ones of her looking semi natural. Her face looks good in the last picture but she's wearing weave. Kevin rates based on no makeup or weave. She's had surgery too which he is against.

Kevin rates based on no makeup, extensions or wigs. That is the only pic I can find of Kelly looking close to natural that looks flattering. She's still wearing makeup but it is light. Would you prefer I post these instead?

This is a good picture of how she naturally looks face-wise compared to her with a full face of makeup. She's wearing weave in both pictures but this is the best I can find.

These are pictures of Saweetie before surgery and she only has on lashes and gloss in her graduation pic.

Yep! It looks crazy! That’s another issue. People keep trying to recreate Hollywood in local cities and they end up looking crazy.
If somebody had money I think it would be a lucrative business if they had some type of charm school league for young blks. Stuff like etiquette, fashion...makeovers...

at the end of the day...its his rating scale. All individual ratings will vary. People will shift a beyonce from 8-9...but all would agree she is beautiful and certainly well within that range. That's the idea. Its not a fixed a system.
