An MC. NOT a legend.

Why you're giving a beverage company that kind of clout is batshyt insane. Y'all shyt on any rap publication imaginable but you took a Sprite ad to heart?

:mjlol: @'the visual of watching that commercial with Drake and Nas and then getting furious

By tomorrow, several low IQ Drake haters will mention the Sprite ad once again :russ: :snoop:

Ad really put a shytstain on their subconscious :deadrose:

NYC black coffee tough guys aka the Stoozy Boys
All you self promoters are janky
We established like the Yankees

This whole fukking game thank us
We movin' militant but somehow you the one tankin'
No limit to where I can take it
And you know me as a Cris bottle sender
Check picker upper
I thought we looked out for one another

Saw us all as brothers in the struggle
Too blessed to be humble
I guess it's different in the city I come from
All the sudden I got people showing how much they truly resent me
They whole demeanor just spells envy
They tryna tempt me

He said "spell" for a reason.

Jealous
Ones
Envy

He also implies fukking Tahiry.

The Jealous ones envy is a reach, as its also a Fat Joe album, and since the track is basically an ode to the 90's it makes more sense that he would be referencing said album title, its an infamous album, pretty sure anyone growing up on Pun knew about the album with KRS-One and Rae on it. The lines you have on bold can literally apply to anyone he's hung out or had problems with; Diddy (Paris album was trash), Master P, DMX, etc. Shyt the whole song could be about all of em. I'm not saying Joe couldn't probably be a target, but DMX made it very known that he "hated" Drake, most of the industry did.

The song is too vague, done so in true Jay fashion.

1. Not a reach IMO, especially considering that the snippet for no shopping dropped BEFORE the song came out. Calling him a "self promoter" as in unsigned as a solo artist while claiming his team is established like the yankees.

2. I'm well aware of the play on J.O.S.E, just saying the word "spell" wasn't thrown in there willy nilly.

Also Diddy ain't "trying to tempt" him to do anything...he bytch slapped him already and I doubt he's about to go back and forth with him on wax. At best he smacks that nikka again

Joe was a target as well as Puffy...no different than when he tagged Jay on "charged up" out the blue while battling Meek which carried over into 30 for 30. He likes to talk slick to Kendrick and Jay but can't play that cold war shyt with people who don't have to worry about PR.

This is why before Joe went in he made sure to say SH ain't involved and he takes full responsibility, any mainstream rapper exposing this stuff about Drake would have to do so knowing that they would be fukking with Iovine's money. It's why Kendrick ain't put a name on the "rapper with a ghost writer" line.

Exactly...

Drake stays talking slick in his lines to the heavyweights because he knows politics won't let them respond accordingly. He most likely truely believes that he can't be touched and that he can throw passive agreesive petty sub raps to anybody and they are just gonna sit back and except it out of fear of being putting on meme on the OVO Fest screen and getting ripped apart by his OVO legion fanbase.

Drake failed Law 47 of the 48 laws of power.

Do Not go Past The Mark You Aimed For, In Victory Learn When To Stop.

It started with Meek and it should have ended with Meek. He shouldn't have dropped Summer 16 and sent those slick bars to Hov, Ye, and Tory Lanez. Dude was gaining more enemies that he didn't need.

Then after not liking what he heard on Joe Budden's podcast he decides to send him subshots thinking that Joe was just gonna sit back and just talk about it on his podcast and let it go.

He forgot that Joe is with the shyts and has NOTHING to lose. And on top of that Joe Budden can rap his off and is a REAL lyricist . These last few diss tracks, Joe has been lyrically stripping Aubrey of his MC armor piece by piece and opening the flood guts for all other established MC's to attack him.

Joe didn't even go at Game or Hov like this :pachaha:

And like I stated before. Drake can't have social media help him like it did the Meek situation. He can't rely on memes.

Hell I wouldn't be surprised if Drake called Hollow Da Don to respond to Joe Budden just to throw him off course. But Joe hasn't steeled away and has literally focused ALL his energy on him.

And he can have all the sell out tours and platinum singles, albums, or whatever. But at the end of the day, the more silent he is to all this. The more he literally becomes a popstar.

If he wants to be respected as a rapper. He HAS to respond.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rihanna texts him like "You gonna let ole boy rip you like that? :usure:"
