You said it was naive for people to believe he meant what he said.

I agree we don’t hold politicians accountable which is why they can overpromise and not deliver.

Which is a true statement as what else was he going to say to help win over voters? He couldn't keep it 100% honest and say that Congress is run with dark, corporate money or that he can't help unite Congress as that wouldn't rally voters or help his cause. He knew he couldn't do it, but when you're a politician you over promise knowing that you can't necessarily get it done.

It's why I'm always skeptical and don't trust shyt that a politician tells me at face value and never have. The only reason I'm even believing that he's going to do the 10K is because the student loan companies say that he is going to do it and they have no reason to lie about it.

Why are you acting as if Biden signed weak legislation bills like BBB, strengthening voting rights, small increase in minimum wage ,strong police reform, etc...He hasn't done shyt to show the public he cares or willing to put up a fight.

Right now he should take this moment to go head strong with gun control reform. But of course he's leaving it to republicans and corporate dems to come up with a bill that will die in the senate. We were told that he had the corporate Dems and GOP in the bag and that stuff was going to get passed ala compromise deals. He hasn't. That's on him. Can't even do the bare minimum. fukk Biden.

You can’t corporate Democrats and the GOP in the bag when you’re one of them yourself. Biden’s history in Congress has always been public knowledge, yet people chose to overlook it for whatever reason.

The point is campaigns for 2024 haven't started and typically won't start until after mid-terms. And if you were as astute as you're pretending to be, you'd know there is no confirmed Democrat challenger at this time.
