They can’t placate to their base because theres a major disconnect between progressives and moderate/establishment Democrats. They don’t even have a platform at this point besides “At least we‘re not Republicans”. Sinema and Manchin showed that Democrats can’t even get their own party in line. And it further highlighted the major disconnect between progressive and centrist/moderate Democrats.

And I think any compromise on the behalf of progressives will look their betraying their base to do nothing but continue the status quo….

I think they Play a part, but it's mainly the economy. Which was always going to be dicey as we opened back up from Covid.

That said, I don't care much about his approval ratings. The lower they are the sooner we can move on from the Biden Harris era and get some younger likeable candidates to run in 2024.

I think once we got past the blame Trump phase, Biden wasn’t strong enough policy wise to keep his voters happy. I think the way the media and his party handled him hurt him more than it helped.

I go buy groceries for a few food pantries. I know folk black, white and other upset about how things are. Gas prices for many is an issue. Everyone can't buy an electric car. Even if u do buy an electric car I'm sure your electric bill will go up.

Grandpa nor his cabinet ain't all he is cracked up to be. As a future husband/ dad I can't vote for this again.
