I get what you mean in that you don't want enemies expanding their sphere of influence unchecked.
but who is russia a threat to? its a weak, garbage country thats only relevant because its a huge gas station. i dont really care if russia takes over the 1 or 2 territories its barely capable of taking

i mean i feel bad for the ukrehs, but its just not really our fukkin problem. and certainly NOT at these gas prices

It's all about getting one over on the US and America specifically for the "multipolar" advocates. It wouldn't be such a problem either if the other poles weren't a bunch of illiberal totalitarians.

They'll always come back with, "but you're Black!" I'm American. Black Americans know that if America gets a cold, Black people get the flu. Keeping America healthy is generally good for Black Americans.
exactly. if it's good for america and bad for russia then it's all good in my book. same for china. i have no ties to them. if they were the world power and not america how would that help me?

But there are valid reasons to "get one over" on America. It wouldn't help if China was on top (and definitely not Russia) but let's stop acting like this is good for black people. It can and should be better, period. We have totalitarians here who don't want black people to vote for example. A better country, and not Russia is the standard imo. I support Ukraine, but I get why people are upset.

And more importantly, no one stays on top forever. Ask Great Britain and France...

Politically and economically speaking he’s correct. A Ukraine in the European Union and a member of NATO expands our European Allies base, limits Russia expansion, militarily constrains them and gives us easy trade to the fourth biggest wheat producer globally.

It’s just the cost is ridiculous.

I doubt Russia would sell to us in the foreseeable future anyway even if we ceased funding
