I’m saying what I hope for I don’t know what the hell Obama wants. All I know is that he has a constitutional law background, would be a liberal pick, and would make Republicans mad for decades. And he wouldn’t have to deal with the Senate and House.

I have a feeling he may go with Harris to pander but the black vote is already his so it’s pointless. They will be branded as some bizarre cop ticket while Trump runs to the left of them with his reform. Looking at the 2016 election map, the places that the dems need to win will be Florida and the northern states. For that reason alone I think Amy Klobuchar will be his VP pick. If you look at the other options no one provides a voter advantage outside of Amy. California is lock without Kamala, Georgia won't vote Dem because of Stacey, Massachusetts can be won without Warren, and all the other names I haven't even heard before today. Plus if this primary has proven anythings its that Joe already has the black vote thanks to Obama. So having a black VP won't be necessary unless one of the Obama's end up being VP.

I get what you're saying but half of those states are blue/lean blue states (Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Maine). The other half are red/lean red states (Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska). Only Michigan is a swing state among those that you listed.
