She was the best choice and anyone concern trolling about it needs to get out. None of the other candidates measured up. It became clear months ago that Biden was going to pick a black VP, thus eliminating Warren and Whitmer. None of the other black candidates were even qualified to be president so...yea. Easy choice. She's not perfect...but none of the candidates were. All of them had flaws, many of which were major or disqualifying flaws. Kamala has the least amount, it's obvious from tonight that black women are all aboard, she tends to do great in interviews, she's a solid debater, etc.

This election is not going to be determined by her AG record. Especially while Trump runs a campaign claiming Biden+Harris are anti police, want blood in the streets, etc lmao.
This is what I'm talking about .:mjpls:Those flaws are the least disqualifying to who?

A lot of you are exposing yourselves in this thread. Keep going.

Please don't use TLR as a basis for anything resembling reality. In real life this isn't changing too much. Kamala might bring out some black and Indian(!) voters that might not have voted otherwise but that's about it.
Nah breh this further alienates the Bernie crowd and progressive dems. I can already see some of the hardcore left not even voting. He should have picked Warren to have some balance.

Another thing. People out here laughing about Kamala not doing xyz in the primaries...who fukking cares. How a VP ran in a primary has never mattered in a presidential election. Biden didn't win a single state in 2008, only had one memorable moment in the entire primary (the Giuliani attack) and still got picked as VP because Obama's team realized he could help with a specific group of voters.

Biden did exceptionally well with black people in the primaries - not just in terms of winning the total percentage, but also in terms of increased black turnout. Multiple states had higher or nearly as high black turnout as in the 2008 primaries. Black people are going to vote heavily, and yes Kamala helps. Everyone can see that she is likely the next president of the United States, after Biden. If you don't think that's going to motivate black voters, ESPECIALLY black women voters, you're being disingenuous. This is a game, and the end result is pretty damn obvious to black people right now. Vote for Biden and you get another black president. You may think that's dumb...hell I'm black and it doesn't motivate me at all. But it would be foolish to deny that a loooot of people aren't thinking that right now.

Might want to move that back a touch. Me thinks the election won’t be decided that night.

polls will be closed though so :yeshrug:

So has Nap done a heel turn on Kamala the same way he did Bernie?
