Social media can often fukk up progressive politics, turning everything into stan wars. Plus, the spectacle of elections are inherently anti-leftist, forcing attention and energy upwards to a messiah candidate instead of the grassroots. Bernie ran a truly revolutionary campaign in this respect, never seen a candidate attempt to redirect attention back downwards as much as he did. We just gotta keep our heads down, keep organizing, keep pressuring elected officials. The Biden-Harris administration will not be naturally sympathetic to progressive causes, so we have to keep the heat on them.
